I’m woefully behind the times with the Gallery.

In an effort to catch up, I’ve added the pictures from our pilgrimage to Disney World way back in May. This album includes pictures of Virginia and Washington D.C., both places we visited (albeit breifly) during our drive to and from Florida.

awww yeah, baby!

I was worried that I might lose my preferred status on US Airways. I didn’t think I’d be able to fly the required number of segments (flights) before the end of the year. But according to their Membership page, I’ve already retained my Silver Preferred status based on miles flown! I’ve flown 41,000 miles so far this year, easily passing the requisite 25,000 miles. In fact, if I fly 9,000 more miles before Dec 31, I will make Gold Preferred!

This may sound silly to some, I admit. But I travel plenty for work. Preferred status gets you better seats, free upgrades to first class (space permitting), and the ability to use the first class line security line at some major airports. Not to mention a 50% bonus (Gold status gets 100%!) on miles!

As you might have guessed, I’m pretty excited about this.
